Concert by Pt Kaivalyakumar Gurav - 15 August, Saturday.‏‏

We have immense pleasure in bringing to you a music program of Pt.Kaivalyakumar Gurav, a leading exponent of Kirana Gharana. 

Pt. Kaivalyakumar is blessed with a rich multigenerational lineage of his grandfather Pt. Ganpatrao Gurav and father Pt.Sangameshwar Gurav.  He has been bestowed with a number of prestigious awards including Surmani – Sursingar Sansad, Pt Jasraj Gaurav Puraskar, Raza Foundation Award (Paris).  He is the youngest Hindustani Classical vocalist to get a Top Grade ranking by All India Radio and Doordarshan.

The program will have an eclectic mix of classical/ semi-classical music, abhang/bhajans and natya-sangeet.
