MMS Annual General Meeting 2026 - (Hybrid)

You are cordially invited to attend the Annual General Meeting of Maharashtra Mandal (Singapore), to be held on

Date: Saturday, 28th March 2026
Time: 2:00 pm
Venue: Hybrid - Online via Zoom / Physical

Please REGISTER by Thursday, 26th March 2026 for attending the AGM.

• The online meeting link will be shared via email upon successful registration.
• ⁠For the physical meeting, details of the venue location will be communicated at a later date, closer to the AGM.

To attend the AGM, please ensure that you renew your membership online.

The Agenda for the meeting:

1. To read and confirm the Minutes of AGM held on 30th March 2025. Refer to MMS AGM_2025_MOM_Signed.pdf.

2. To present and adopt the Annual Report and Statement of Accounts for year 2025.

3. Audit report to be presented by the Auditors during the AGM.

4. Election of Executive Committee (Ex-Co) Members and Honorary Auditors for the next term (2026-2027) *
   

5. Any voting Member who wishes to place an item on the agenda of the AGM may do so provided he gives a notice in writing to the Secretary (secretary@mmsingapore.org) at least ten (10) calendar days before the Meeting is due to be held.

6. Any other points with the permission of chair.

* Depending on the applications received for participation in the Ex-Co, elections may be held in accordance with the MMS Constitution.

Application/Nomination forms for the Executive Committee (Ex-Co) 2026-27

• MMS Election Nomination Form - to be filled by the Candidate

• MMS Election Confirmation of Nomination - To be filled by one Proposer and one Seconder each

A member can apply for only one Ex-Co position. If multiple forms are received, the first one will be held valid and subsequent entries be ignored.

Therefore, all nominees are required to submit their NRIC/FIN copies along with the Nomination Form to the Election Commission via email to election@mmsingapore.org

The last date for receiving Applications/Nominations for Executive Committee (Ex-Co) is 18th March 2026 5:00 pm Singapore Time.

The election commission consists of the following members and may be contacted at election@mmsingapore.org for any queries regarding the election process.

Instructions for Registration for Attending the Physical Meeting

1. Registration will be on a first‑come, first‑served basis due to limited venue capacity.
2. ⁠If the venue capacity is already full at the time of registration, members will be required to register for online attendance instead.

Instructions for Attending the Online Meeting

As mandated by ROS requirements for online general meetings, we must follow certain rules to record e‑attendance and facilitate e‑voting of members.

Please ensure the following:

1. Login to Zoom 15 minutes early so that we can identify each attending member, record attendance and determine quorum.

2. Do not login via direct phone dialing. Use the ZOOM app on your device (preferred) or login via a browser.

3. If multiple members are attending from the same household, each member must login from a separate device. Each device will be counted as one attendance and one vote (in the event of voting).

5. Keep your video ON during the entire duration of the meeting. 

6. Keep your audio OFF unless you are required to speak.
