MMS Badminton Tournament 2026

Badminton enthusiasts, buck up and get ready for enthralling tournament !!!

This year, we will be conducting our Badminton tournaments at Quantum Arena, OWIS Campus, Punggol.

Kindly note - Owing to system limitations, you may have to do multiple registrations if you are keen to participate in multiple categories.

Please note the following-

1. Tournaments are open ONLY for MMS members who have paid the annual membership fee for 2026. Kindly renew your membership at: https://www.mmsingapore.org/apply-renew.
2. Registration will close on 25th May 2026.

Format of the Game

Maximum 8 entries per category will be allowed

Scenario1 (if we receive between 6 to 8 entries per category)

·       2 pools per category will be formed & games will be played in round robin format in each pool.

o   Top 2 players from each pool will qualify for semi finals

·       Each player/team will play at least 2~ 3 games depending on total entries received.

Scenario 2 (If we have less than 6 entries)

·       If we have less than 6 entries in any category, then round robin matches will be played in single pool.

o   Top 2 players from round robin format will qualify for finals

·       Each player/team will play at least 4 games depending on total entries received.

General Rules/Guidelines:

• Indemnity: Each participating members shall indemnify Maharashtra Mandal Singapore (MMS), and the venue organizers against any claims, damages, losses, costs, liabilities and expenses from any injuries, mishaps whatsoever may happen due to the participation and or presence in this tournament.
• Players can register for multiple categories (i.e. singles, double or mixed).
• Registration fee per player/category is SGD 15.

- E.g. if a player registers for singles & doubles, he/she will have to pay SGD 30.

- E.g. if a player registers for singles, doubles and mixed doubles, then he/she will have to pay SGD 45.

• Each player is required to bring their own racket (shuttlecocks will be provided).
• Players should wear Badminton shoes.
• We encourage you to carry your own water bottle in view of sustainability. There are water filling points available at the venue.
• Participants who reach the Semi-Finals and Finals will qualify for the Harmony Cup (a four-society tournament) in their respective categories.
• Paid Parking is available at the venue.

What will MMS provide? - Banana or Apple, energy drink

What can you purchase at the venue? - Snacks/lunch bento, additional energy/soft drinks
